The course follows the National Curriculum at Key Stage 3. In Year 7 pupils will learn about the medieval period. In Year 8 pupils will study the Making of the United Kingdom 1500–1750. In Year 9 pupils will learn about Napoleon, the French revolution, Trade and Industry 1750 – 1900 and the 20th Century world. Pupils also study the First World War in depth and its causes and consequences in preparation for Year 10 and 11.
