In Years 7, 8 and 9 pupils will undertake a course using the Collins Maths framework as well as utilising CIMT resources. Our curriculum covers the KS3 National Curriculum attainment targets up to level 4, 5, 6, 7 or 8, depending on the ability of the pupil. Our programme naturally lends itself to a high degree of differentiation, therefore whilst the range of topics covered by each individual will be roughly the same, the level of work will vary according to the pupil’s ability. We also complement our studies with engaging activities designed to strengthen and challenge student Mathematic application and understanding in preparation for their upcoming iGCSEs.
